Adding individual stocks and shares to your ISA is simple with Fidelity.

None

If you want to have direct control over which companies you invest in, then consider a Stocks and Shares ISA that allows you to invest directly in shares.

Not only do you then stand to benefit from the tax advantages that comes from sheltering your investments in an ISA, but you will also have full flexibility to invest as you choose; adding another element to your investments and allowing you to take full control of what you invest in.

You can manage and track your investments easily through your online ISA account and while you’re there, get access to our investment guidance and expert market insights.

1. Choose your shares

You may already know the shares you want to invest in. But if you’re undecided our tools enable you to search, filter and select your favourites and then deal, there and then, on a real-time basis.

You can look at the entire UK market. We have the full range of shares across the key indices - from the household global names that make up the FTSE 100 index of leading shares through the FTSE All-Share index, the FTSE 250 and the FTSE 350 right down to stocks on the junior market, the Alternative Investment Market (AIM). And you can chart and compare up to seven investments and indices with our handy tool.

2. Pay one simple fee to buy or sell shares

Once you’ve made your choice, you will pay just £10 for buying or selling shares online within your ISA and just £1.50 to re-invest dividend payments. Market charges such as Stamp Duty and PTM levy may apply, but there are no hidden share dealing charges and no exit charges.

The service fee on shares held within an ISA is based on the total investments you hold with Fidelity (so across all your investments from pensions to savings; not just on the shares you hold) and that is capped at £45 a year. If you decide to hold shares outside your ISA you won’t get the tax advantages that investing inside an ISA provides, but you also won’t pay a service fee.

3. Tap into the latest insight

When looking for the best Stocks and Shares ISA, you need a provider who combines a competitive service fee with the support you need. We have a dedicated team at Fidelity who provide market commentary and insight to help make your investment journey easier.

As well as tools to help you decide we provide a weekly update on the stocks to watch in the week ahead, a weekly podcast to help inform your investment choices and a weekly market overview to keep you abreast of domestic and global political and economic developments.

Our Markets & Insights section at Fidelity.co.uk is the place to go for all this and the latest daily commentary. And in addition, we give you 24/7 online access to your account - whether you’re at home, or on the go, with the support of our UK or Dublin based call centre in case you have any further questions. All of which will help make managing your stocks and shares investments and your ISA as easy as 1,2,3.
